Gorgeous authentic Native American Navajo oxidized sterling silver necklace, featuring a cluster of blue turquoise accented with hand-stamped beads strung on a strand of Navajo pearls. Navajo pearls are created in a three step process. Each sterling silver bead is oxidized and polished perfectly at the center, one by one, and hand strung.

Cerrillos, New Mexico is thought to be the location of the oldest mines; prior to the 1920s, the state was the country's largest producer; it is more or less exhausted today. Only one mine in California, located at Apache Canyon, operates at a commercial capacity today. |
